EuroLeague Round 19 suspended amid Covid-19 surge


EuroLeague Round 19 will not take place this week, as the competition suspended all games amid another Covid-19 outbreak.

Zenit Saint Petersburg was the last team to report several positive Covid-19 cases. Therefore, they didn’t travel to Milano for the game vs Armani.

The league will return to action next week with Rounds 20 and 21. It is unclear yet how many games will be played. EuroLeague Round 19 games will take place in another date.

Last but not least, the situation could improve moving forward, as the EuroLeague shortened quarantine time from 14 to seven days.
