Kings Won’t Make Any Player Untouchable In Trade Talks

Vivek Ranadive has given Monte McNair the authority to make any move necessary for the Sacramento Kings to return to the playoffs, sources tell Sam Amick of The Athletic.

The Kings have a 16-23 record, but remain in contention for the play-in due to the Western Conference having a down year outside the top-4.

The Kings would prefer to keep building around De’Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton, but no player is considered off the table in potential talks.

Ben Simmons remains a target for the Kings, but sources say the Philadelphia 76ers continue to ask for a truly elite player in return such as Damian Lillard or Bradley Beal.
