The Los Angeles Lakers don’t have a definite date yet to prepare for Anthony Davis’ comeback.
As told by Frank Vogel in the pregame of the Lakers’ upcoming battle against the Orlando Magic, though Davis has everyday plans in his recovery, there’s no timeline yet that needs to be circled on the impending return (h/t Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation).
From the past few days, Vogel already announced that the All-star big man is set for a ramp-up, on-court activities and hinted that he would possibly play sometime in the Lakers’ current lengthy road trip. As such, time will only tell what would be the franchise’s decision and further precautionary measures for the center.
Davis had a sprained MCL in his left knee one month ago against the Minnesota Timberwolves, wherein he was ruled out for about 4-6 weeks to take medical rehabilitation.
Before bowing down, Davis is averaging 23.3 points, 9.9 boards, 2.9 assists, 2.0 blocks per 35 minutes for the Lakers. As he may soon suit up the purple and gold uniform, he can truly aid his team in this lopsided season with his two-way presence.
