Best NBA Bets
Milwaukee Bucks (-2) at Charlotte Hornets
The Bucks lost to the Hornets on Saturday night, so they will be looking for revenge in this one. Expect Milwaukee to tighten up their defense a little bit and take the win vs. Charlotte in this one, as the Bucks still have the best two players on the floor in Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton. Antetokounmpo scored 43 points in the loss to the Hornets on Saturday, and should be in store for another big game in this one as Charlotte doesn’t really have anyone to matchup with the two-time MVP.
The Hornets are one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA this season, though they have been better at home. The Bucks should be able to flex their muscle in this one and avoid losing two straight games to the same opponent.
Philadelphia 76ers (-10.5) at Houston Rockets
Philadelphia should be able to control this one, as double-digit favorites over the Rockets despite being on the road. Embiid and company have been on a roll of late, scoring 114 or more points in four of their last five games. The 76ers have won six straight games and scored 133 on the Rockets a week ago when these teams matched up in Philadelphia. Embiid has scored 30 or more points in six straight games during the winning streak.
Houston is 1-9 over their last ten games as they continue to struggle during a rebuilding season. Darryl Morey’s ex-franchise has one of the worst rosters in the NBA, as the Rockets have the worst record in the Western Conference and third worst record in the entire NBA.
Brooklyn Nets (-9) at Portland Trail Blazers
Kyrie Irving will join Kevin Durant and James Harden on the court for this one, as the Nets look to keep rolling in this matchup vs. the banged up Blazers. Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum remain out for Portland, leaving the Blazers extremely shorthanded for this one. The Nets are on a rather wild back-to-back after playing at home on Sunday afternoon, but they should still be able to cover as they come into this contest at near full strength.
The Blazers are 4-6 in their last ten games and have slipped out of the top ten in the Western Conference standings. Portland will look to pull off the upset, but it’s going to be tough vs. Brooklyn with all three of their superstars.
