This upcoming trade deadline will feature some interesting names that could find new homes next month. Besides Ben Simmons and Jerami Grant, other players could join different teams.
After the Indiana Pacers reportedly made Caris LeVert, Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner available on the trade block, the trio has received interest from several teams around the league. Sabonis and Turner have been linked with a couple of teams, including the Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, and Los Angeles Lakers, but nothing is official right now.
Turner is still drawing attraction from around the league and Shams Charania recently broke down the options that the big man could have once the trade deadline arrives. Four teams have shown some level of interest in Turner, who could be a great addition to any of them.
Rival teams are ramping up conversations with the Pacers involving guard Caris LeVert and center Myles Turner. The Mavericks and Knicks are expressing interest in trading for Turner, sources said. The Lakers and Hornets have had a level of interest in Turner as well, sources added.
Myles is a very capable big man who can stretch the floor and provide solid defense. He’s one of the best shot-blockers in the league right now and some think he could be even better with a different partner than Sabonis.
Turner is a very good player who can bring a lot to any of these four teams. The Lakers are looking for a center after DeAndre Jordan and Dwight Howard failed to do the job. The Knicks have some interesting players at the five, but they haven’t been consistent. The Mavericks could use him as a twin tower with Kristaps Porzingis. The Hornets could use him in the pick and roll with LaMelo Ball.
He has interesting options to continue his career, but time will tell what team lands him this trade deadline.
