NBA Rumors: Scouts from Bucks, Pelicans, T-Wolves in attendance on Cavs-Kings Monday night duel

Several scouts from the Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Timberwolves and New Orleans Pelicans were reportedly seen in attendance at the Sacramento Kings’ home game against Cleveland Cavaliers last Monday night.

From the note given by Jason Anderson of Sacramento Bee, representatives from the  three given teams were present — as it may signal the obvious business side of the league as the trade deadline nears in mid-February.

In other way around, it may possibly hint at an upcoming fire sale for the struggling Kings, and these mentioned squads might look on fulfilling their respective goals to pursue a negotiation.

Minnesota, craving for a solid wingman which will help them for a much higher climb in Western Conference ladder, might have their eyes set on Harrison Barnes. The trustworthy 29-year-old veteran is averaging 16.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists and a consistent 41 percent shooting from the three-point land.

Meanwhile, De’Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton, who were recently reported available in a swap just for a fair price, are for sure on the target list of the Pelicans. Gaining the service of one of these two will be an ultimate success for NOLA — as he will be a perfect roadrunner, floor general and a Big 3 piece with promising cagers Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram.

Lastly, the Bucks, off from parting ways with DeMarcus Cousins while patiently waiting on starting center Brook Lopez’ back surgery recovery, seems on the radar of adding a cheap additional big man to aid superstar Giannis Antetokounmpon and Bobby Portis. The defending champs may look to acquire one big man from Sac-Town’s trove of serviceable towering players in Alex Len, Tristan Thompson or Damion Jones.

As we get closer, things are getting even more exciting and anticipated within the association. As the challenging run towards the Larry O’Brien continues to be harsh, it’ll be interesting how teams will retool days after the All-star break wherein the real season is about to be determined.
