The future of Russell Westbrook in Los Angeles is uncertain. Even though the 33-year-old superstar is expected to exercise his player option which would net him $47 million next season, the Lakers are rumored to be looking into ways to move him.
During the season exit interview Russ made comments indicating that he would be interested in running it back next year. But his activity on social media indicates otherwise.
Westbrook was spotted liking a comment on Instagram by tonyherreros which asked for him to leave the Lakers. “Please don’t go back next year, do whatever it takes to go somewhere else or even consider retiring, but leave Lakers alone dude please,” the comment read.
