Stephen Curry, LeBron James lead NBA All-Star voting after second round of fan returns


Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James, Chicago Bulls guard DeMar DeRozan and Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant lead NBA All-Star voting after the second fan returns were calculated, the league announced Thursday. Curry leads all players with 4.46 million votes, while James is in second with 4.38 million.

Durant leads Eastern Conference players with 4 million while DeRozan is first among guards in the East with 2.9.

Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic (Western Conference) and Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo (Eastern Conference) are second among frontcourt players in both conferences. Memphis Grizzlies’ Ja Morant (Western Conference) and Atlanta Hawks’ Trae Young (Eastern Conference) hold the second spots for guards in both conferences.

The next NBA All-Star fan voting update is on Jan. 20. Voting concludes on Jan. 22, with the starters announced on Jan. 27 and reserves on Feb. 3.
