Steve Kerr hopes Andrew Wiggins becomes an All-Star

Former number one NBA Draft pick Andrew Wiggins is playing his 8th season in the league but has never been an All-Star.

This year his team the Golden State Warriors is among the top teams in the NBA and is thought to be a contender for the championship after a couple of tough seasons.

Wiggins’ individual success combined with his team’s success brought his name into the All-Star conversation.

Although the 26-year-old small forward is not among the top All-Star vote getters, his head coach Steve Kerr hopes he will make it to the event. “I really, really hope he makes it. I think he deserves it,” Kerr said, per Connor Letourneau.
