NBA DFS picks December 31: Can Siakam handle Randle?
We have a split NBA DFS slate on DraftKings today. Words cannot explain how annoying this is. We have the Cavs and Pacers and Bulls-Wizards early. In that two game slate, I’m prioritizing Russ and Sabonis. There is plenty of value to go around to fit both of them in comfortably.
Now we can get to what really matters: the five-game main slate that also starts a little early at 6:30 pm Eastern. First thing first though. We need to check out those injuries.
Out: Trevor Ariza (personal), Obi Toppin (calf), Ben McLemore (coronavirus), James Ennis (hamstring), Frank Ntilikina (knee), Furkan Korkmaz (adductor), Chris Clemons (Achilles), Mason Jones (ankle), KJ Martin (coronavirus), DaQuan Jeffries (ankle), Ty Jerome (ankle), Wenyen Gabriel (knee), Al-Farouq Aminu (knee), Jonathan Isaac (knee), Patrick McCaw (knee), Dennis Smith (quad), Omari Spellman (knee), Adbel Nader (concussion), Jalen Smith (ankle).
Questionable: Alec Burks (ankle), Austin Rivers (groin), Immanuel Quickley (hip).
I started doing the trifecta last year where at the request of a reader I tried to predict the top three scorers of the night. I got all three right twice, but they were never in the right order. I’m not one to give up that easily, so I’ll do it again.
Last night I completely whiffed on everything but Giannis. He was the highest scorer and I had him at third. Luka and Tatum were total busts and killed enough of my lineups to piss me off. Tonight I will go with Harden, Randle, and Ingram. Digging a little deeper here.
